The Full Story
Corkscrewlife Photography was started in 2013 on Instagram when Jordan Nishida was 15 years old. Corkscrewlife started a passion for cars that he saw on the streets of Salinas, California during the days of Central Coast Movement that he could share with his friends on his creativity. But as Corkscrewlife started going viral on Instagram into the mid-late 2010s. Jordan expanded to Laguna Seca Raceway in 2015 when he started working as a part time customer service rep for Laguna Seca Raceway's Souvenir Store for a year. As Corkscrewlife kept growing on Instagram, Jordan worked for a few automotive media outlets like Autoconduct in the early 2020s after the pandemic as a photographer capturing not only events at Laguna Seca Raceway. But also other race tracks in California like Sonoma Raceway with popular events like Velocity Invitational and Raceworz USA. Along with Global Time Attack 2025 at ButtonWillow Raceway. Jordan has had a successful run with Corkscrewlife Photography for the past 10-15 years on Instagram. He currently photographs cars occasionally for himself and private owners. Along with being a seasonal photographer for Veloce Media in Monterey, Ca for their seasonal private car events like The Spring Fling Rally. Jordan is grateful for all the support that he has received from all the gear heads he has made wonderful connections with through Corkscrewlife Photography. And continues moving towards a better future.
